The most efficient and accurate way to begin a listing is to start if from the property ID number. When beginning your listing this way, you pull the Public Record Data (PRD) into the listing input fields automatically, which saves you from having to type these in manually. Let’s face it, automatically loading the Legal Description alone (from PRD) can be a huge time saver! Additionally, the address will auto-load the same way it’s recorded on the tax records. This removes any guess work when it comes to determining how a street name should be entered. Let’s take Saint Clair Highway, for example. Should the street name be entered as St. Clair, St. Clair Highway, St. Clair Hwy? The possibilities are numerous! Allow PRD to do the work for you and you’ll see public record data for that property shows this as Saint Clair (street name) and Highway (street type).
Here’s how to easily use PRD when inputting listings:
- From RCO3 Input module, select Add New and choose your Property Type.
- From the below page, simply enter the Property ID or the part of the address followed by an *.
It’s really that simple to save time and input more accurate information when inputting your listings.
