Realcomp has successfully negotiated an extension of our current agreement with LoneWolf for TransactionDesk. Based on this, the older offering will be phased out on October 31, 2021 (instead of September 30, 2021) and replaced with Remine’s Docs+.
Realcomp’s Board of Governors sought the extension to allow MLS Subscribers to have more time to request and receive their transactions from LoneWolf. Each MLS Subscriber needs to personally retrieve their transactions themselves and save them to their personal storage to secure access to the documents before the TransactionDesk service has ended.
The extension not only provides MLS Subscribers with more time in a busy real estate season to obtain their transaction files, but to also attend a Realcomp training class on the new Remine Docs+ platform. To register for a Remine Docs+ class hosted by Realcomp, choose the Class Scheduler icon from the Realcomp Dashboard and then the desired Docs+ training session.
“Since Remine Docs+ was built as a true transaction management platform (more than a place for just storing documents), obtaining training on the program is a vital component for Realcomp REALTORS® to experience a smooth transition” said Karen S. Kage, Realcomp’s CEO.
The contract extension also moves the final cutover to the Docs+ platform closer to Realcomp’s launch of a new listing Add-Edit module. This launch is now scheduled for the beginning of November and will completely replace Realcomp’s current Listing Input module. The replacement involves a hard cutover, where the current Listing Input and TransactionDesk listing submit functions get deactivated, and the new Add-Edit module takes their place. The new Add-Edit module brings with it new data fields and field modifications (to be detailed in a future communication) … not for “the sake of change”, but to allow Realcomp to accommodate data being provided by MLS data sharing partners and standardizations set forth by the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO) for continued compliance.
Additionally, Realcomp’s implementation of the new listing Add-Edit module sets the stage for Realcomp to bring more technologies to our REALTOR® subscribers in the future, including “MLS platform of choice” (more to come on this topic in the coming months).
If this communication applies to you, please use this additional time to secure your transactions from TransactionDesk and to be trained on the Docs+ platform before October 31, 2021. It will be here before you know it!
