With several new apps in development, Realcomp is excited to provide details to you regarding one in particular that is coming, “RealcompCalc”.
Our very own Customer Support Team Leader, Tim Thibault, won the internal contest Realcomp held for employees to come up with a name to best describe our new app.
“We listened to subscriber feedback, including the deficiencies of the financial calculators that have long been available in RCO3®. We then set out to find a suitable replacement. After a significant amount of market research into existing mortgage calculators, we determined Realcomp’s opportunity to deliver a calculator app that would suit Realcomp REALTORS’® needs – thus the 'winning' name”, said Tim.
Tim continued, “Realcomp Subscribers told us they needed a flexible calculator that handled more than finding a monthly payment. They needed a calculator that would handle balloon payments, additional principal payments, and more. Based on customer feedback, Realcomp’s development team concluded the app needed to allow users to supply different variables in order to calculate the missing factor. RealcompCalc can accommodate this. Finally, the app needed to provide an aesthetically pleasing graphical representation of the data for presenting to your customers and being printed. RealcompCalc is the end result of all of this feedback and our team's efforts.”
The web based version of the app has been available for several months now through RCO3® MLS system. However, the Android and iOS versions of the app will be coming soon to the online stores for downloading.
