Realcomp not only collects, cleanses, maintains, and polices the data used by our REALTOR® subscribers, but we also provide mechanisms for them to easily share this high quality data with "the world". This includes syndication to the largest of the third party real estate portals (i.e. Homesnap, Homes.com, and Realtor.com). The best quality data promoted through these websites typically originates with REALTOR® subscribers and MLS organizations like Realcomp!

Realcomp was originally developed for the purpose of providing the members of its Shareholders with accurate and reliable listing and data-related services. Our shareholders own stock in Realcomp and appoint representatives to the Realcomp Board of Governors. Each Shareholder selects or elects two (2) REALTOR® members to serve on the Realcomp Board for specific terms. The Realcomp Board of Governors, as a whole, establishes direction for the corporation while operating in the best interest of its MLS subscribers and the corporation itself.
The Realcomp Board of Governors convene on a monthly basis to conduct corporate affairs. These Governors respectfully report to the Shareholder Boards/Associations that selected/elected them.
