Is Your Browser Autofilling Your Address Incorrectly?

The autofill function on browsers can sometimes cause an agent’s home address or business address to automatically populate into Input or on a listing form in Transaction Desk. Follow the instructions below to correct this issue on the browser so it does not continue to happen. For Chrome, you can either turn off the autofill completely OR remove the name / company name that is prompting the address to fill in. For all other browsers, the autofill function for forms would need to be turned off.

CHROME:

1.  Click on the three parallel dots (the menu option) at the top right of Chrome, and select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

2.  Click “Show Advanced Settings” at the bottom. This will expand out the settings screen and you will see more options.

3.  Scroll down until you see the option for “Passwords and forms”.

4.  In the “Passwords and forms” section, you can turn off the autofill completely by unchecking the box that says “Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click”.
