Manufactured Housing Update

In conjunction with the recent updated MLS policy (from June) on allowing non-deeded mobile/manufactured homes in the MLS, Realcomp has updated the Input module on RCO3® to include the following modifications: 

Mobile Home Park now appears under the Site Description feature group (as shown below).



Two (2) modified options, Manufactured without (w/o) Land and Manufactured with Land now appear under the Architecture Style feature group (as shown below).


 
Manufactured w/o Land replaces the previous description of Manufactured without Deed. This description applies to the manufactured home located on rented land within a mobile home park or community. A manufactured home without land is titled (like a car).  Listing agents selling titled manufactured homes are required by the state to have a mobile home retailer license. The application for this type of license can be obtained through the State of Michigan’s website.

Manufactured with Land replaces the previous description of Manufactured with Deed. This description applies to the manufactured home that is being sold with land. A sale of this type involves the transfer of a deed (just like other real property sales).
