Beginning today (2/25), Realcomp REALTORS® now have the ability to quickly and easily communicate “End of Showing” to the necessary parties. This involves clicking a new STOPWATCH icon, which appears in the upper right-hand corner of the app after opening a SentriLock electronic lockbox. This action will automatically send a notification to the listing agent and homeowner letting them know the showing is over and that the owner can return to their home.

If you have the SentriSmart app on your phone setup to automatically update, you should have access to this feature without taking any additional actions. If not, you may need to visit your online app store in order to download the latest version of the app before seeing the stopwatch icon.

Although the SentriLock system was setup to automatically send “end of showing” notifications based on specific criteria being met, a number of variables have affected the reliability of these messages in being sent.

P.S. The next time you complete a showing with a SentriLock lockbox, be sure to click the STOPWATCH icon. It’s the courteous and professional thing to do.
