The next Electronic Lockbox (ELB) enhancement to look for from SentriLock is called “Access by Appointment” and is coming to Realcomp this summer!

“Access by Appointment” is being made possible through the cooperation of both SentriLock (the maker of Realcomp’s Electronic Lockboxes) and ShowingTime (Realcomp’s preferred showing appointment software provider).

Both companies have engaged in many discussions over the last year to explore potential solutions for how the two separate and distinct technologies might “talk to each other” for the purpose of restricting REALTOR® access to ELBs based on showing appointments (i.e. showing agent, showing date, and showing time) that have been approved or authorized by the listing office/agent through the ShowingTime software.

Realcomp thanks both SentriLock and ShowingTime for considering our request for this desired functionality, and for their willingness to work together to provide Realcomp REALTORS® with a solution for restricting ELB access to other REALTORS® based on approved appointments and specific dates and times.
