One Day Code Important Update
As of March 31, 2024, there will be a change to how One Day Codes can be provided. ShowingTime will no longer be able to issue One Day Codes for non-SentriLock members. Below are the two ways a non-SentriLock buyer’s agent may gain access for a showing:
Listing agents will still be able to create One Day Codes using the SentriKey Real Estate mobile app. These codes can then be texted or emailed to a buyer’s agent, affiliates, or any other authorized and confirmed user who requires access.
Listing agents who would like a more automated method will still be able to utilize ShowingTime to grant access, however, that access will be through the SentriConnect® mobile app. The buyer’s agent will schedule an appointment as usual but rather than generating a One Day Code, their email address, which is tied to SentriConnect®, will be granted mobile access permission. This will then enable the agent to use the SentriConnect® app to access the property.
Please note: One Day Codes are not being discontinued.
Lockbox owners can still create and send these codes to showing agents as needed. However, third-party showing services (ShowingTime) will no longer be able to generate these codes.
