Instructions for REALTORS® to Access Realcomp’s
SentriLock Bluetooth Lockboxes

For Realcomp REALTORS® and Reciprocal SentriLock Users

Using the SentriKey Real Estate App:

First, if you haven’t done this already – take these 3 important steps:

  1. Download the SentriKey Real Estate app!
  2. You can find it on either the Google Play Store (for Androids) or the Apple Store (for iOS devices). You’ll need to have this on your Smart device to access the Bluetooth lockbox.
  3. Activate your SentriLock account. If you no longer have any of the original emails from SentriLock that contained your personal activation link, call Realcomp at (866) 553-3430 or send us an email at support@realcomp.com and request that the activation link be emailed to you again. We’ll need your Realcomp agent ID# and your email address for this, so please BE SURE TO INCLUDE that info in your email request.
  4. Once you have requested a showing and it has been confirmed by the listing office or agent, login to your SentriKey app using your Smart device and your Realcomp-issued SentriLock credentials, your ID and PIN. Hint" Your ID begins with the letters "RC".

Next, verify you are at a Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox by looking to see if the lockbox has a white/gray key compartment. If it is white/gray, this indicates that it is a Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox.

Then, use the following steps to access the Lockbox key compartment (from either your Android or iOS device):

  1. Press ENT on the lockbox to wake it up.
  2. Tap the listing/lockbox serial number you wish to access from the app.
  3. Enter your PIN and tap on Open Key Compartment from the app.
  4. Watch this YouTube video for visuals of this process.

    Note: SentriKey uses your current location to display properties listed for sale in your area. If the lockbox serial number is not assigned to a listing address, find the serial number. It is important to make sure your device’s location services have been enabled. You must enable location services to use the Properties list feature.

  5. Pull the key compartment of the Bluetooth® REALTOR® Lockbox open once the motor is finished turning.

Recommended Procedure for Handling the Key & Lockbox: Open the lockbox, remove the house key and open the door, carry the key with you, and leave the lockbox door open throughout the showing. Return the key to the lockbox and close the lockbox door right before leaving the premises.


Instructions for REALTORS® to Access Realcomp’s
SentriLock Bluetooth Lockboxes

For Non-Realcomp REALTORS® and Non-SentriLock Users

**For the Listing Agent/Listing Office: You will need to GRANT SentriConnect accessto the showing agent you’ve approved to access your listing/ELB before they can access it. **

For the Showing Agent – Using the SentriConnectTM App:

First, if you haven’t done this already – take these 3 important steps:

  1. Download the SentriConnect® app!
  2. You can find it on either the Google Play Store (for Androids) or the Apple Store (for iOS devices). You’ll need to have this on your Smart device to access the Bluetooth lockbox.
  3. Once you have requested a showing, it has been confirmed by the listing agent/office for a specific lockbox and date & time, and that person has “Granted you Access” (via their app),you will be able to activate and setup your SentriConnect® account via the link that is provided to you via a SentriLock email. Just follow the prompts on the screen.
  4. Launch the SentriConnect® app using your Smart device and login using the credentials you created in step 2.

Then, use the following steps to access the Lockbox key compartment (from either your Android or iOS device):

  1. Press ENT on the lockbox to wake it up.
  2. Enter your PIN and tap on Open Key Compartment from the app.

-OR- Using a 1-Day Code:

The Listing Agent/Listing Office may or may not issue One Day Access Codes to allow non-Realcomp REALTORS®/non-SentriLock REALTOR® users access their properties. To learn whether or not this applies to the listing you want to show, please find out from the Listing Agent/Listing Office. Please be aware that 1-Day Codes expire 60 minutes after being used.
