Did you know, the ShowingDesk software for MLS subscribing offices keeps the listing office informed of appointment requests for listings? A pop-up appears on the Home Page of the ShowingDesk client to let the office know when a showing appointment/request is made. These requests can also be viewed through the “Tasks To-Do” tab under Appts to Confirm, unless the listing is set to auto-confirm. Listings that are auto-confirmed can be viewed under the Daily Log.

If an appointment request is canceled by the showing agent prior to the appointment being confirmed, the request is simply removed as a task.

An office can be set up to receive a notification of a canceled appointment by entering their front desk email address in Office Setup and checking the box for Notify this office of new appointment requests. This is helpful for instances when the appointment is canceled by the showing agent after it was already confirmed.

Another notifications option allows the listing office to add sellers to a Listing Worksheet as contacts. This allows you to set them up to receive their own notifications for when appointments are confirmed/canceled.
