PRD Update – Remine Vs. Realist? You Choose

Last October, we shared with you our plans for ensuring your access to the most up-to-date Public Record Data (PRD) available for Michigan property records.

As you may know, Realcomp provides Public Record Data (PRD) for the entire State of Michigan as a core service to our REALTOR® subscribers. When PRD is available for collection via electronic means, our goal is to obtain it and make it available to you as soon as possible. This data includes land (property descriptive data) and tax information and (depending on availability through the municipal provider) deed-related updates as well.

As a part of our initiative for improving your access to timely PRD updates, we also moved from CoreLogic to Remine as our data source for the public records. Based on these efforts, we are now seeing positive developments and wanted to provide you with some examples.

However, in spot-checking tax data updates for counties in SE Michigan, when it comes to delivering the most updated data, Remine wins the prize for 13 out of 14 counties.

We’ll continue to keep you updated regarding our progress in this area of our services.
