Realcomp’s Phone System Has Been Upgraded


Realcomp’s phone system has been upgraded with an additional circuit, which includes several more phone lines. Additionally, as more Add-Edit fixes have been implemented, we have seen call volumes decreasing. Also, we have increased the maximum length of time callers can hold (i.e., from 20 to 45 minutes).

At the 45-minute mark, callers are automatically transferred into voicemail to leave a message. We know long on-hold waits are not ideal. So, leaving a voicemail message right away or emailing us continues to be the most efficient way for users to get questions answered or issues reported to Realcomp.
