Open Houses – Always a Good Idea!



Ready to schedule your first open house? We have outlined the simple steps you’ll to accomplish just that!

To Add an Open House to Your Listing in RCO3®:

1.     Go to the Input tab 
2.     Select your listing
3.     From the change options select Manage Open Houses
4.     Enter the details for the Open House and click Submit Listing


Want to Prepare a List of Upcoming Open Houses for a Client?

To Search for Open Houses in RCO3®:

1.     Go to the Search tab and click More (last option in list)
2.     Select Tour/Open House Search
3.     Enter your search criteria (including the desired date or date range)
4.     Click Results
5.     Click the Criteria tab to go back and revise your search criteria (as needed)

Additional Options:
  • Save your results as either a New Saved Search or a New Speed Bar Shortcut for future reference
  • Email a list of Open Houses to your client by clicking the check box next to your desired listings, the Actions button (near the bottom of screen), and the Email selection. Then, complete the email form and click the Send option.
  • Print a list of Open Houses for your client by clicking the check box next to your desired listings, the Actions button (near the bottom of screen), and the Print selection. Select the type of report you want (Full, Single Line, Full w/Map, etc.) and then your preferred output choice (Email PDF, Print to PDF, Preview, or Print).
  • Map a driving route to the Open Houses by clicking the check box next to your desired listings, the Actions button (near the bottom of screen), and the Directions option. Hover over the listings and use the arrow buttons on each to change the order of the visits.

To Cancel an Existing Open House on Your Listing in RCO3®:

1.     Go to the Input tab 
2.     Select your listing
3.     From the change options select Manage Open Houses
4.     Select the Delete option (appears to the right of the Open House details)
5.     Consider updating the public remarks of your listing to include a notice of the Open House cancellation (i.e. OPEN HOUSE ON 9/9 CANCELED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES).
