In writing your listing remarks, consider these recommendations from our Customer Care Support Team:
- Describe the property as well as the community.
- Include why you yourself would want to live in this house.
- Consider the current market and features you know buyers are interested in. For those that apply to your listing, highlight those in your listing description.
- Does the property have any unique or special qualities? Be sure to include those.
- How about a privacy fence, a fenced in yard, granite counters, a gourmet kitchen, stainless steel appliances, and/or hardwood floors? These are all worth mentioning!
- Know the brand names that may grab the attention of buyers (i.e. Bosch, Sub-Zero, and Viking) – just to name a few.
What else should you consider incorporating into your listing remarks?
- Highest and Best offers
- Buyer’s fees
- Agent owned/related
- Open House Information
- Builder Information
- Bonuses must be to the selling broker and must state whether they are at “accepted price and terms” (APT) or “full price and terms” (FPT)
What should you EXCLUDE?
- Personal information (i.e. phone numbers, e-mail addresses, names, web URLs, etc.) is prohibited in the content of listings, photos, and/or virtual tours published in the MLS.
We hope these tips help to get you started!
