Be Careful with Internet Permission Selections When Entering New Listings!

Over the last few weeks, we have received many reports from MLS subscribers of their newly entered listings not being sent to various 3rd party websites. The reason? User error. Users have inadvertently chosen to not distribute their new listings to the Internet through the Internet Distribution page/section of the new Add-Edit program (highlighted below).

The Internet Distribution settings for new listings automatically default to those already established by your office. However, they can be overridden on a listing-by-listing basis, as needed, by the listing agent or admin.

If the default setting(s) for the Internet Distribution field(s) show as “Yes” and you/your seller want the listing to be advertised on the Internet, DON’T CHANGE A THING. Leave this section as is. You would only want to modify this in special cases (i.e., a seller has specifically requested that the listing not be advertised on the Internet or something similar).

Questions? Be sure to reach out to our Customer Care Department at support@realcomp.com so we can assist you

If you have any questions about the new status, please contact Realcomp’s Customer Care Department via email at support@realcomp.com. Thank you.
